We're in Paris!

We left the UK for a few days to visit Paris, France.

We stayed in Place d'Italie, a new area of the city for me. I highly recommend staying outside of the tourist area of the city - we found the accommodation and restaurants far more affordable this time around. We spent a lot of our time visiting the tourist sites since it was Jeremy's first time in Paris so I won' t post too many tourist photos but here's one of us in front of the Eiffel Tower and a few of the night shots.

Bodensee, Germany

One of our most scenic stops this trip was at Lake Constance. We were staying in Germany but the lake itself borders five European countries. From sailboats and vineyards to castles and Zeppelins, the Bodensee is unlike any other area of Europe.

Pfahlbauten

When in Germany we visited the Pfahlbauten "Water Village" in Unteruhloingen. It is a reconstruction of a stone-age village built on the marshland that is now the area surrounding Lake Constance. Very cool.

We're in Switzerland!

Stein Am Rein is the most adorable town. There are murals painted on the outside of buildings and a ferryboat travels up and down the river... highly recommend a visit.

We're in Holland!

We missed a connection and we're stuck in Amsterdam for the night. We'll hopefully be catching a train in the morning. Here's a quick snapshot of the busy Schipol Railway Station:

Hi all!

So Jeremy and I are off to Europe for a month. The trip is partially a vacation and partially on photo assignment. We will hopefully be posting a few images from here and there so tune in!
